Dentures

Whether you are missing all of your teeth or just a few, our Kelowna dentists offer natural-looking dentures to help restore your smile.

What are Dentures?

Dentures are artificial teeth and gums that your dentist uses to replace lost or removed natural teeth. Dentures can be used to replace all teeth on either the top or bottom of your gum line, or just a few missing teeth. Dentures are custom-designed to fit your mouth and can be matched to your existing natural teeth.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are used to replace a row of missing teeth when some of your natural teeth are still remaining. Partial dentures will help protect your remaining natural teeth from shifting, eventually leading to more serious dental issues.

Complete Dentures

Complete dentures are used to replace an entire jaw of missing teeth to help restore the functionality of your smile. They can be created after any remaining natural teeth are extracted and fitted once your gum tissue has healed (conventional dentures) or created in advance and fitted right after any remaining natural teeth are extracted (immediate dentures).

Implant-Supported Dentures

If there is not enough gum tissue to hold and support full dentures, implant-supported dentures can help stabilize your dentures a proper and secure fit. By combining dentures with dental implants, the dentures can be more retentive and functional.
