What is a Mouth Guard?
A mouth guard is a custom-made tray that fits over your teeth. It can be worn during sports activities to help protect your teeth from trauma, or during sleep to assist in protecting them from the effects of grinding (bruxism) and jaw disorder (TMJ) symptoms.

Sports Mouth Guards
Our dentists recommend sports mouth guards for any sport where your face may come into contact with another person or piece of equipment, like hockey, football, soccer and gymnastics.

Night Mouth Guards
Our dentists recommend night mouth guards for patients who grind their teeth or clench their jaws during sleep.
If you grind your teeth, a mouth guard can act as a barrier between your top and bottom teeth to help protect them from damage. If you clench your jaw, a mouth guard may help to prevent you from clenching and give you some pain relief.
